Microsoft在Windows 8中預載Flash player到IE 10中，方便用家不用自行下載和安裝相關插件。可是這種方便亦同時帶來一些安全問題。今天在ZDNet上有文章指出Windows 8上的Flash player已被發現並非最新版本，當中存在安全問題，而最令人擔心的是Adobe方面早已在八月推出修正版本，Microsoft卻指出要到Windows 8正式上市才會為其進行更新。順帶一提，用家是不能自行為IE 10中的Flash player進行更新的 (安裝介面會出現錯誤訊息)。

Security is of course important to us, and we are working directly with Adobe to ensure that Windows 8 customers stay secure. We will update Flash in Windows 8 via Windows Update as needed. The current version of Flash in the Windows 8 RTM build does not have the latest fix, but we will have a security update coming through Windows Update in the GA timeframe.

Windows 8要到十月尾才正式上市，那就代表在這兩個月時間中Windows 8預載的Flash player都有安全問題未修補。小編未有使用Windows 8的電腦，不過在Windows 7的IE 9中可點選Tools→Manage add-ons→點選Shockwave Flash Object後按停用按鈕來停止使用Flash player，使用Windows 8的讀者可嘗試這個方法 (當然這樣做的話會令使用Flash的網站無法顯示，用家只需再次啟用Flash後重新載入網頁即可)。

儘管目前使用Windows 8的用家不多，小編希望Microsoft能盡早推出相關的更新… 或者盡快令須要用到Flash的機會減至零，把用家從Flash中解放把Flash player從IE 10中獨立出來!
