而大家最關心的價錢方面，則尚未有確切答案:

同時Microsoft亦表明Windows 8的成功與否，在於用戶接受其新介面及功能的程度、與OEM廠商的合作和推出相關產品以利用 (Windows 8的) 新功能、以及吸引開發者為Windows 8推出有質素的應用程式。

有傳其它電腦製造商很快就會得到Windows 8最終上市的版本，相信屆時會有其它運行Windows 8/ Windows RT的平版電腦的消息會被公佈。小編也很期待其它廠商所設計的新一代Windows平板電腦呢!
