今天，Google的Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich，下稱ICS)正式於香港發佈。相信不少留意手機資訊的朋友，都會乖乖的像小編一樣，坐在電腦前面，收看Youtube的直播。然而，當大家在期待ICS會為大家帶來甚麼創新原素的時候，小編實在對ICS的原創性頗為失望，因為大家應該不難發現，ICS的「新功能」，其實都是把不同OEM廠商的功能和App加到自己的系統而言，未有提供像Mango發佈時把MSN、FB Chat等與SMS合併成Thread的衝擊性概念。更甚的是，是次ICS的更新有不少部份都是自我們的Windows Phone處「抄考」回來，實在令小編失望。在WPCentral上，該站的編輯以及讀者也與小編有同樣看法，讓小編在這麼節錄及整理一下︰

• Swiping between menus instead of tapping them is Metro
• action bar is copied from wp7 (especially making it common between apps, is exactly what Metro is)
• photo album UI looks exactly like WP7 gallery
• contact groups is from WP7
• people app is direct copy of wp7 people’s hub
• folder creation method (dragging two icons together to make a folder) is from iOS
• Lock screen to camera is from WP7/iOS (which iOS copied from WP7)
• switching reply method between email/sms/call in contact card is WP7 (Actually, webOS did that 1st –ed.)
• using card view to switch between different tasks is from WP7 (which was also seen in webOS)
• they even said “Putting pepole at the heart…” instead of “Putting People First”

小編只能説，ICS看來只可以説是Android 2.3「集各家大成」後的升級版，是次升級頗為令人失望。至於對Windows Phone來説，究竟ICS新增的People App能否直接衝擊Windows Phone的重點People Hub功能呢？現在評論的話，時間尚早，看來People App是否仍是以不停開App來達到整合功能，將是ICS成敗的關鍵。使用Windows Phone新世代的People-centric概念，還是停留在iOS、Android舊世代的App-centric做法？這將是手機界未來一、兩年最值得觀察的現像。Let’s sit back and see。
